This convenient rock climbing site data map provides you with a fast reference source for a number of rock climbing sites located throughout northwest Oregon and southwest Washington. Of course, to accomodate this many crags and their beta, it takes quite a number of guidebooks, new and old, with plenty of overlap, to cover all these crags adequately. The pale gray radius circles (centered on downtown Portland) refer to the mileage outward from city center to various destination rock climbing sites listed on the data map. Each radius is equal in mileage to: 10 miles, 25 miles, 50 miles, 75 miles, 100 miles, 150 miles, and 200 miles. You can base your travel and time frame itinerary when you know the general distance involved in driving to a particular climbing site from Portland.
